Come Home

Last Sunday, Pastor Raymond Aynang brought us the word of God!

The Israelites who were raised and cared for by God had rebelled against Him. A donkey knows its way home because it knows the master that feeds it. But the children of God didn’t recognise their Lord but rather despised Him (Isaiah 1:1-3).

Many of us are looking everywhere for everything, labouring for the things we want but we labour in vain if we do it apart from the Lord. The answers we are looking for are with the Lord and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask think or imagine. God is calling us; He is our Source, He will re-fuel us, He will advise us. As we heed to the voice of the Lord, we will enjoy His promises.

We are living in a day and a time when we cannot live without the Lord. We need something “extra” and only God can give us that. Do we know our Father? We must go back to Him to be fed and energized!

Come home to the place where you first encountered the Lord. We must come to the river of God and allow Him to flow in every area of our lives. If you are hungry, thirsty, tired, the ever-flowing river is available to refresh us, fill us and enable us to advance in the kingdom.

God is calling us to the table and He will give us rest. Our Father wants to comfort, refresh, empower us, and heal our hearts for the journey. (Matthew 11:28-30).

The journey may be long and hard, we may be battered & bruised, but God to calling us unto Him to be able to make. Daniel 11:32, “but the people of God will be strong and take action.”

We must let the Lord in as He stands at the door of our hearts & knocks (Revelation 3:20). He is our Author and Perfecter of our faith.

The time has come for the people of God to manifest the power of God. God is calling us to rise up to the occasion; to stand in the authority that we have in Christ Jesus. He wants to make us into a mighty oak. We are resources in the hands of God to be used for His glory in all areas of influence. But we must first come to Him to be filled and fueled.

There is no place like home! At home we can be ourselves, we can be open, we can be filled. So God is calling us to come home and be refreshed!
