God has made His wisdom available for us who are in Christ (Ephesians 3:10) to successfully accomplish His mandate in our lives. Success not as the world defines it but as God sees it.
The wisdom of God is different from the wisdom of the world. In fact, the wisdom of the world is foolishness to God (1 Corinthians 3:19; 1:25).
We need the wisdom of the Spirit for everything in our lives – to make the right decisions, to live a godly life, to desire what is right in God’s sight, to be able to walk in obedience to His word, to be good spouses, to raise our children in God’s ways, to manage our finances, to care for our bodies, etc.
God has made His wisdom available for us to be able to navigate in these difficult times.
Christ is the power and the WISDOM of God. Apart from Christ, no one can walk in the wisdom of God (1 Corinthians 1:24).
If we were given an open cheque by God to request anything from Him, would we, like Solomon, ask for wisdom that comes from the Spirit of God (2 Chronicles 1:10-11)? After Solomon’s request, God added onto him wealth and honour.
Seek the wisdom of God above all things. He wants to take us to greater heights and use us mightily for His kingdom purpose but without His wisdom that would be impossible.
Paul prayed to God to give us a “Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him” (Ephesians 1). Paul’s life was evident of the wisdom of the Spirit by which he walked and preached (1 Corinthians 2:4). Jesus purchased wisdom by the finished work of the cross that we can tap into and walk in (Revelation 5:12).
God has made His hidden wisdom known to us in Christ for our glory so that others may see Christ in us (1 Corinthians 2:6-7).
The Spirit of wisdom is a manifestation of the Holy Spirit (Isaiah 11:1-2).
How can we receive this wisdom?
