Isaiah 41:8-10 – God has chosen us to do something great Isaiah 43:18-19 – There is awakening and revival all over the world, and in us in particular. In the last of the last days, there will be a cleansing, moving and a shaking; a move of the Spirit preparing us because God is mobilising His people to go and gather souls and bring them into His Kingdom. There are 3 groups of people in the church. Where are you positioned?
in-the-box person (Exodus 3:7-11; 4:13)
This person has built a boundary around himself/herself for so long that defines his/her comfort zone and makes him/her feel secure and happy
He/she doesn’t want to go out of his comfort to experience the revival of the Holy Spirit
Every time the Sprit of God moves, this person makes excuses why he/she should remain in the box
This person is afraid of losing what God has given him/her in the first place. Don’t be afraid to declare God’s glory or else you won’t be able to reach the potential that He has in store for you.
God’s method is through His people. He is raising an army that is not afraid to put everything down for the glory of God.
You may never grow to where God wants you to be if you are too afraid to stand for Jesus.
God will move; He won’t wait for you so make up your mind to move with Him for time waits for no man. God gives moments in time for us to catch and move along with Him, or else they will pass us by.
outside-the-box person (Matthew 14:29-31)
This person is excited about the move of God, but moves just a bit. They want to be part of what God is doing, but he/she allows the natural things of the mind and experience limit him/her from moving forward with the Lord.
When God does something and you jump in, you begin to walk in the supernatural work of God.
This person starts excitedly, but gives up when boldness, courage, persistence and sacrifice are required of her/him.
True worship will always cost you something. The only free thing is salvation; every other promise of God is conditional.
You have to surrender totally to Jesus for you to move forward.
This person allows things around him/her to determine his/her future. The fear of losing and excuses make us experience it, yet fail to move forward; be out of the box, but not beyond it.
Are you willing to fight the storms and pressures of life, or are you going to give up in defeat?
To go beyond the box, you have to fight forward. Don’t allow doubt and fear, criticism, comfort, etc, stop you from going to where God has called you.
If you stay behind, you will lose it. PRAYER: Lord let it be me that wants to receive Your fire of revival so that I can move forward in Your plans and purposes for me in Jesus name.
move-out-of-the-box-and-go-beyond-the-box person (Numbers 14:30; Joshua 14:10-12; Daniel 11:32; John 6:5-11; Hebrews 3:7)
This person does not decide based on the natural – what he/she sees and experiences. He/she decides based on the promises of God, and does not fear.
This person is not moved by anything, other than the promises of God, and therefore, he/she enters the promised land.
He/she is not afraid to lose it, for they embrace God and His word.
God wants to raise people who will be ready to obey God without negotiation. He uses those who are ready to go forward without excuses.
Are you willing to give all so as to be part of God’s miracle?
Are you willing to not give up and keep fighting forward until you experience the grace of God, the power and revival of the Holy Spirit?
Let doubt, unbelief and fear go. Don’t miss the opportunity that God has for you. Every time there is a thought of an excuse, rebuke the thought out of you in Jesus name! Will you surrender your life so that God can use you mightily for His glory?
