We all have something we consider as important, but are these things really important (of great significance or value)? If the things we desire now do not have eternal value, they are not important (Matthew 6:33). It is important to consult the Giver of the gift to help us maintain that gift. As long as Christ is not in what we consider important, it is not important.
What is important is for you to know the mind of God and the heart of God and walk through them (Matthew 24:35). We should use our gifts to the glory of God’s name (Colossians 3:17; 1 Corinthians 10:31). Live with eternity in mind – live with no regrets as a child of God.
Don’t be fooled (Psalm 14:1), there is God and eternity. Live your life to the fullest to satisfy God. Our greatest gift from God is salvation so live to draw men to Him; don’t fail to honour Him (Genesis 12:2; Matthew 13:44; 10:32). A time is coming when God will require for us to answer how we spent what He gave to us.
When you sow the things of God in your children and those around you, when you depart, you will not be afraid because you know that you built on a solid Rock that cannot be shaken. The cares of the world will all pass away, but don’t hold onto the craftiness of the enemy that causes you to worry. Learn to live according to the dictates of the Scriptures and recognise the place of the Holy Spirit in your life (Proverbs 21:20; Ecclesiastes 2:18-19).
(Luke 2:41-50) The boy Jesus, at the age of 12, had so much passion for the things of God. Anything that you have passion for pulls you to it. If you have passion for souls, are you being drawn to souls? The same trait that was in Abraham is in you as well. Families are known for the things they do. Just as Abraham pleaded with God to have mercy on souls in Sodom and Gomorrah, do you have the same passion for souls? Do you care for lost souls (Psalm 2:8; John 14:15)?
(1 Corinthians 10:23; 6:12) God may allow it, but is that what is required of you? We may do all the ‘running’, but it may all be worthless in the end if God was not involved in it (2 Timothy 4:7).
(Proverbs 23:4-5; James 5:1-6; Psalm 62:10) Where your treasure is, that is where you have your heart. The treasures we can make for ourselves are human souls. you may not have the courage to preach the word of God, but you have the grace to invite someone to church.
(Romans 10:13-15,17-19) God has called you for a reason. The essence of your calling is to draw others to God as they watch you displaying His nature. Signs and wonders, deliverances should follow us whenever we walk in obedience by drawing men to God. Display your worth as a legitimate child of God. We are all called to be God’s evangelists (2 Timothy 4:5). God, give us the nations in Jesus name! (Psalm 2:8; 69:9)I take hold of the nations, in Jesus name.
God will count your worth based on the people you brought to Him.
PRAYER: Lord open my eyes so that I may see the opportunities to give Christ to others. Let me share You who is greater in me. I come against any spirit of fear that brings intimidation when we have to share the word of God. I should not be afraid of sharing anything that is good. I take hold of the sound mind that You have promised me (2 Timothy 1:7)
